Barkana Falls 

These magnificent waterfalls are nestled in the deep forests of the Agumbe region. However, only with forest department permissions, you can enter this protected region. These waterfalls are formed by the Seetha River in the Agumbe region. It flows jubilantly mostly during the monsoon season. 

Jogi Gundi Falls 

This beautiful fall is in the Agumbe region of Karnataka. If you are a nature lover planning to visit with friends and family then this will be one of the best places in Agumbe for you. There will be small fishes in the water too and we request you not to catch or disturb their lifestyle. 

Onake Abbi Falls

This is one of the tourist hotspots in Agumbe. This is almost close to Someshwara and it is 8 km from Agumbe. This is one of the nice spots to do trekking and hiking in the region.

Agumbe Sunset

This is on the Agumbe - Udupi highway and in the ghats section route. Many travelers taking this highway schedule time to watch the sunset during the evening. 

Kundadri Hills

Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary 

This is a protected wildlife sanctuary in the Western Ghats belt of Karnataka. There is a famed Someshwara temple inside the sanctuary. 

Butterfly Sanctuary 

You will find this place once you climb down Agumbe Ghats and before reaching Someshwara. 

Kudlu Theertha Falls

This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls with a natural swimming pool for nature lovers. To reach the falls you need to take deviation while on the way to Someshwara from Agumbe. You can spend time trekking and hike along with swimming in the water. 

Agumbe Ghat 

This itself is a scenic place to explore. If you drive down the Ghats the forest on both sides you can behold mountains and waterfalls. 

Agumbe Rainforest Research Station 

It's a field-based research station founded by Romulus Whitaker in 2005.

Sirimane Falls 

You will find this falls in Kigga close to Sringeri. A nice drive distance from Agumbe if you are staying at one of our Malnad Homestays. You can spend half a day minimum here and can head to Sringeri as well.
