I started driving down from Chennai and reached Bangalore and started heading towards the malnad region in Karnataka. The rich greenery, magnificent landscapes made me feel elevated and freshened me up from the hectic work schedules and stress. The homestays in Karnataka are a unique option for travelers coming from any part of India. These homestays offer comfortable and hygienic stay and tasty cuisines for the travelers. I reached Thirthahalli, a city located on a river bank and stayed in a Resort that offered boating, trekking and indoor sports facility at reasonable tariff. After exploring two days in Thirthahalli I started towards Chikmagalur where I could do my favorite hobby, fishing.

Travel Malnad team helped me booking some of the coolest homestays in Karnataka and made my holiday really memorable. My family loved the hospitality that we experienced at the homestays and thanked me for planning such a unique holiday. After Chikmagalur we traveled to Coorg and stayed in a cottage in the backwaters and headed back to Bangalore. All these days of travel one thing we never missed is natural landscapes on both the sides of roads that we traveled throughout Malnad.
