    I am a travel enthusiast and a constant guest of Travel Malnad from past 1 year. This 25th of December to 1st of January, I planned a week long holiday with Travel Malnad. It was superb guys and I thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment of my stay at couple of properties in Thirthahalli and Chikmagalur in Malnad. Well, in this piece of write up I would like to share my views on the Thirthahalli as a city and as a heritage center.

    When I and my family landed in Thirthahalli on 25th of December, it was a pleasant climate though a bit chill during nights and earl morning. We are introduced to the culture of Thirthahalli through the ‘Yellamasya’ Fair that was going on. My children loved playing in the fair and trying their hand on the eateries. I myself a foody and tried out different food preparations that are local and ethnic to people of Thirthahalli.

    The most important part of visit to Thirthahalli was seeing the last day of the fair which ends with crackers and lights and celebration. Unfortunately this year the death of former chief minister of Karnataka ‘Bangarappa’ led to the cancellation of the celebration. Besides the pomp and show of the fair there were several other things that fascinated me as a traveler. I can simply call Thirthahalli ‘A land of enchantment and heritage’.

    We stayed at a homestay in Thirthahalli which was organized by Travel Malnad. We did not miss the road in any nooks and corners of the places that we traveled around. It was one of the most memorable and ‘enchanting’ holiday experiences of our life.     Hey Guys!!! I’m just sharing my personal holiday experiences in Karnataka. Being a foreigner in Karnataka, I keep travelling to holiday destinations in the state quite often. The reason for my getaways is to have a rejuvenating experience. I work in both day and night shifts alternatively in a week.
